Dr. Sandra Mannon

Dr. Sandy began in her career in 1992 as a registered nurse in critical care. She spent 20 years working in the ICU. She became certified as a critical care registered nurse. Her strength came from the belief that knowledge is power, and she focused her care on making sure her patients understood their diagnoses and treatment plans. Education was a strong part of her practice, and she began to share her knowledge by teaching Basic and advanced cardiac life support, Pediatric life support, and trauma nursing critical care courses.

She pursued higher education and completed her master’s degree as a family nurse practitioner and then her doctorate degree in nursing practice-leadership. She has been adjunct faculty for 10 years working with Concordia University, South University and Nova University teaching senior nurse practitioner students.

She believes that knowledge is power, which is why she wants to educate her patients on how to live a healthy lifestyle. She performs in functional medicine which is finding the root of the problem not just treating the disease with medicine. She incorporates her knowledge as a Certified Yoga Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer to help her patients achieve the best of themselves. In 2022 She was nominated as 1 of the top 100 Nurse Practitioners in the Country.

Sandy is married to her husband, Scott and together they have 4 boys, Nathan, Alex, Josh, and Ryan. She lives in Bradenton, FL. She enjoys Yoga, biking, kayaking, and anything in the warm Florida sunshine.

I’m Trish! My journey in healthcare began as a medical assistant, but it was when I transitioned into the role of a medical weight loss counselor that I discovered my true passion. This realization led me to pursue certifications in Integrative Nutrition and Health Coaching. I’m thrilled to be a part of the team at Aspire for Wellness Together, where genuine care for each individual is at the heart of everything we do. There’s truly nothing more fulfilling for me than assisting others in reaching their goals to both look and feel their best.
